I have a radio show that explores food, wine, and cooking geared for the home cook. We will be touring the Rheingau (St. Goar to Rudesheim) in mid-July, and would like to connect with a couple of winemakers for my report upon my return. Would love to hear from the participants in this discussion board as to your opinion for a choice of 2 or 3 estates I should visit for a visit and winetasting, if you know anyone I could contact in advance, and especially family winemakers that have a good story to tell and would be interested in telling their stories. Wine tastings could also be coupled with meals, if there is a winery/restaurant. Unfortunately my German is not very good, so they would have to speak some English. Sincerely appreciate your input and ideas.
