What is May wine?
Posted by info
May Wine is a home made beverage based on white dry wine. You use spring herbs (MAY Herbs, hence the name) to flavor the wine and sweeten it to taste. That's it. I have been asked many times where to get it premade but have not found a source. So I suggest to wait until the herbs are available and then you experiment. It liks an herb based wine punch.

Another Wine Enthusiast e-mailed me at VinoNet and found MAY WINE FROM BROTHERHOOD WINERY (Wines on the Internet). They have an article on Brotherhood Winery May Wine.

Here a quote: It is a blend of white wine, strawberry juice and the herb woodruff. It is a sweet, light-bodied pinkish wine with the fresh taste of strawberries and flowery fragrance of the herb woodruff. One can direct order the wine from them if one lives in
New York state, otherwise you need to call them direct at 914-496-3661 and tell them the state in which you live and they will put one in touch with a supplier in the area.
