| RE: Visit To Rudesheim / Assmannshausen

Posted by David A WoodJust a few thoughts really about an enroute visit I am not sure if you have driven through this area before but if not. I have toured this area extensively and as far the actual Rudesheim area is concerned there are so many places to visit you will be spoilt for choice. We do not drink but do Know the area has plenty of opurtunities for wine tasting. Now for the reason of this mail Most if not all visit Koln when in this area and we have been to many times to mention but not every one visits Aachen and this is agreat place to spend time it is a compact city with plenty of history, and great Shopping, plus have U thought about or have U been to a Therme/Swimming/Sauna Complex the one in Aachen is outstanding certainly one of the best in the area if not in Germany it has many facilities and is used by all ages from 6-66 plus But if U have never been to one of these places the therme Sauna complex is mixed and Nude except for a robe or towel but don't be shy they are a great place to relax and unwind and this is just one of many in the area., and a normal way of life for many germans and visitors alike to relaxHave a great time David & Christine |

My wife and I will be visiting by car at Assmannshausen from May 4 through May 8. We would appreciate receiving tips regarding wine-tasting, restaurants, and tourist trips / sites. |
